With this blog taking on a re-envisioned format, Friday posts will always be a Barista Bruce suggestion.  These suggestions will cover books, websites, blogs, film, and more – all related in some way to the intersection of faith and life.

The first suggestion is a website/blog I follow almost religiously (there’s just a hint of irony there).  In terms of Theology, I personally have found very few web resources as comprehensive, fascinating and easy to understand.  The big thing about Theology is this: the end of Theology should be Doxology.  If our study of God doesn’t end in worship, then what is its worth other than becoming a science?

That’s what I love about The Resurgence.  It is great Theology with Jesus as the focus.  It is not Theology for Theology’s sake but has at it’s core a desire for people to understand and follow and worship Jesus.  For more about The Resurgence check here.
