Brett of the FISH Anderson variety has had a wife now for a year or so. She is really good to him it seems and I love how their relationship reflects Jesus’ relationship with the church.
Anyway, Brett & I have grown as friends and it’s been really kool just to be part of the journey that is a long distance friendship developing as God leads and ideas intersect and all that other stuff that friendship and family are about. If you love Jesus, you’ll understand the family bit because really, other Jesus lovers are actually more than mere friends, there really is a kinship. Val, Brett’s wife had this really cool idea for his Christmas prezzy this year. She asked a load of his mates & other peeps to create something that expresses appreciation for the man.
I relish any chance to be creative and I’m obsessed with infographics so I decided to use the opportunity to design my first one ever. I decided that, since Brett has received his present, I would share my contribution here for the following reasons:
- I think it illustrates how our relationships with others are not coincidence but that people are called to be in community in a way that affects others positively and draws them closer to Jesus.
- Brett is a real inspiration & I want to celebrate that.
- A little self-indulgently, I suppose I just like putting my stuff out there for people to see.
- I really like this first-attempt infographic.

dude, what an amazing present and yours was definitely one of the ones that stood out and from leader of rowdiest group on summer camp you are fast becoming one of my favourite people in life and i really enjoy you, your work, your passion for truth and full-life-ness and your appreciation of coffee (slash obsession, harr!) – i hope we get to hang in the same place again sometime.
